In terms of appearance, the most obvious part of the upgraded GX460 is the change of the front grille. Compared with the old horizontal bar grille, the 2020 GX460 adopts the whole more three-dimensional family-style spindle-shaped grille, which is denser.

In addition, although the shape design of the headlight has not changed, the internal light source has been upgraded from the old xenon gas to three LED light sources, and the style of the daytime running light also adopts a more obvious “L” shape design, which is very rich in details,high recognition.

The GX460 and 4Runner V8 share the same chassis, engine and driveline. The GX uses a shifter for the transfer case (but the unit is the same. Also some GX’s are equipped with KDSS which is quite a nice upgrade over XREAS option on 4Runners.
